I have a confession to make. I am terrible at keeping plants alive. Even succulents. People tell me, “Try succulents, they are super easy to care for.” Meanwhile mine are slowly dying. Despite my lack of a green thumb, I still absolutely love flowers and all things green. They can brighten up a house and make it feel instantly like a home. While occasionally a friend will cut me some fresh blooms from their garden, I usually opt for faux flowers in my house. When we downsized our house 2 years ago I had to get even more creative with my faux flower use when decorating. A big part of this was because we lost a lot of storage space…well, just space in general. Because of this, I had to get more creative with where I stored things and how I decorated. I’m sure anyone with a smaller home can totally relate. Let me lay out some tips that I have for getting started using faux flowers to make a small home feel bigger and hide the clutter too!
