These sugar free chocolate muffins are a perfect healthy breakfast for you and your kiddos. Not only are they gluten free and vegan friendly but they have absolutely no refined sugars in them what-so-ever. The kids love these and actually ask to have them for dessert. Definitely a dessert that is A OK with me. Recipes like this one are my absolute favorite because they are so tummy friendly.
3 mashed bananas
1 cup gluten free oat flour (can simply blend gluten free oats in blender)
1 pureed apple or 1/2 apple sauce
1/2 cup cacao or cocoa powder
1/4 peanut butter
1 flax egg (1 Tablespoon flax with 3 Tablespoons water)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
